Well I know jack shit about this combat update

Probably because I’m both a free player and the fact I only came back about a week ago. But people seem to be flipping turds on it. I’ve seen it and it looks pretty damn awesome. The animations are so much better, and it changed it from just simple clicking to actual strategy. Least that’s what it looks like, I didn’t sign up for the beta so I never actually tried it. So I could probably be really wrong.

Only thing I wanna know is if this is gonna balance out the combat triangle finally. Range as been an over-powered bastard for as long as I’ve remembered playing, which was Late 2006-Early 2007, and Magic is so weak it isn’t even worth using, with Melee the only one being a decent medium. I really hope they balance it, I’d love being able to use Magic without it being so pointless due to how weak it is. I don’t care if there’s barrage spells and shit, the fact that it’s maximum hit is pretty damn close to an average Melee and Range hit is pathetic.

Yes, they are completely rebalancing the combat triangle. Everything, including monsters, is being redone.
